Rock-very wide-ranging styles I play LP's most of the time, and play CD's only when I want to read at the same time, of if there is something I want to hear that I own only on CD.
System Goals/Comments: to be able to reproduce the sound and impact of a large orchestra or jazz band at satisfactory volume levels, and to also bring life to small chamber groups, jazz quintets, etc.
System Strengths: Creates wide, deep soundstage with impact. Sparkling delicate highs, and deep lows.
Accurate timbral accuracy from instrument to instrument.
System Weaknesses: Crossover points between mid and bass towers can be fussy, especially with the sprung wooden floor.
Video/HT System: Separate
