Music Preferences and Comments: | |
Music Used (Genre/Selections): | jazz, rock |
System Goals/Comments: | Starting to sound like an intimate jazz club. |
System Strengths: | Great detail and good imaging. Jazz vocals have warmth. Piano sounds like a piano. Ribbons reproduce the shimmer of cymbals. Bass on the Maggies is solid and well-controlled w/ the Sunfire directly controlling the bass panel. |
System Weaknesses: | Too much in the signal path, but I'm getting there. Entertainmemt cabinet behind (between) speakers causes sound-stage to be less deep than it could be; soundstage partially projects in front of speakers. With the change to Maggies on the fronts, the center and surrounds aren't voiced similarly. |
Video/HT System: Integrated |
